1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
# بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1
41:1 HaMeem.
# حم 1
$ 1418 The Koran gives good news and warns 41:2-8
41:2 A sending down from the Merciful, the Most Merciful.
# تَنزِيلٌ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 2
41:3 A Book, the verses of which are distinguished, an Arabic Koran for a nation who know.
# كِتَابٌ فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ قُرْآناً عَرَبِياًّ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ 3
41:4 It bears glad tidings and a warning, yet most of them turn away and do not listen.
# بَشِيراً وَنَذِيراً فَأَعْرَضَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يَسْمَعُونَ 4
41:5 They say, 'Our hearts are veiled from that to which you call us, and in our ears there is heaviness. And between us and you is a veil. So work (as you will) and we are working.'
# وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا فِي أَكِنَّةٍ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَفِي آذَانِنَا وَقْرٌ وَمِنْ بَيْنِنَا وَبَيْنِكَ حِجَابٌ فَاعْمَلْ إِنَّنَا عَامِلُونَ 5
41:6 Say (Prophet Muhammad), 'I am only a human like you, to whom it is revealed that your God is One God. Therefore be straight with Him and ask Him to forgive you. Woe to the idolaters,
# قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَى إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَاسْتَقِيمُوا إِلَيْهِ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ وَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُشْرِكِينَ 6
41:7 who do not pay charity and disbelieve in the Everlasting Life.
# الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُم بِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ 7
41:8 For those who believe and do good works is an enduring wage.'
# إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ 8
